Dart Fuel Tap/Lying Low Level Switch
At last the 400 Dart from Japan has made it into the shed for revival. For a bike with only 2099 km on the clock it is not in a clever state. The fuel tank is leaking at the top mounting point with obvious splits around the threaded insert - good job I bought an ali tank all those years ago!! The bi...

Seiemezzo for Sale
I went over to Oakley Motorcycles at Maidstone to say 'Hello' as they are my local Morini dealer in Kent and thought it would be polite to do so. A very welcoming staff with a wide selection of different bikes - Morini, Benelli, BSA, Herald (a new one on me) and Zero electrics just to name a few. Th...

Re: Clutch Lever Ferrule
No that would be the olive. I machined the fitting it seats in - the benefit of having been an instrument tech in a paper mill meant there was always a handful in the toolbag!

Re: Clutch Lever Ferrule
Update on my dilemma .............. If you take a brass 1/4 straight - 1/4 compression fitting and give it a dose of lathe you can make a more than respectable version!! Along with a bit of drilling the jobs a good'un! Clutch is now smooth and with correct adjustment of the actuator arm doesn't caus...

Clutch Lever Ferrule
Investigating a stiff clutch on the Camel and found that the small round ferrule that the clutch cable sits in in the clutch lever is missing. Anyone got one spare? I've looked at the parts list but the diagrams I've got just show a complete clutch lever assembly so I've not got a part number to hun...

Re: Cam belt dressing is it needed on a Strada
No belt dressing is needed - it is used on some heavy equipment to aid grip/prevent slippage.
As an aside I get my belts from RS Components - normally a Gates item.
John.

Pick Up Cover
Wanted, pick up cover for 3 1/2 - plain type not mechanical tacho type. Sent my original for polishing and it came back looking great. Problem is it has disappeared!! Looked everywhere it could be, should be and shouldn't be but it has vanished. If anyone has one happy I'm to buy it so that my polis...

Instrument Lenses
More things I've been playing with using 3D modelling software. Sorry the green is more yellow but colour choices in translucents is limited.
Original round lenses available in the same colours as the newer square ones - original orange and blue test pieces snapped up by testers!!

Anyone for Cheese? - Update
I have received the Vukollan 90 polyurethane starter clutch buffer pieces and will be contacting anyone on my list who showed interest on the first post back in November. I test fit the pieces in my spare starter assembly as they do need a slight trim (which I do before despatch) for a good fit. Get...

Re: 350 rectangular warning lights and bulb holders
I 3D printed some rectangular warning lights when I first started using my 3D setup for practice - they turned out pretty good! Trouble is they are orange as that was the free filament with the printer!! I also got some translucent lenses printed - red, orange and green (well it's a greeny yellow bu...
