eventually you will succeed and as mentioned above it will release suddenly and fly off, make sure you are standing to the side and not in the line of fire

Re: Carb setup
Carb/brake cleaner spray stinks something awful and I don't recommend using it in the kitchen. Also full of not very nice chemical compounds so avoid inhaling it and best wear latex gloves to avoid skin contact. Be methodical about dismantling the carbs, lay the bits out to keep track of them, use a...

Re: Carb issue
Very hard to do with a hand held drill without damage the threads Do you have a drill press and a way of securely holding the carb in place? You will need a stud removal tool. Ezi-out? Drill a hole and screw the tool in which loosens and removes the broken screw at the same time. Start with a short ...

Re: X3 tank Kanguro / Camel - got one at last
Got a tank after 10 months of patience, tank was a good price, unfortunately shipping to Australia costs nearly 3 x as much, but I'm happy, the extra fuel capacity will make the bike a bit more practical for some longer rides.

Hello from Perth, WA
G'day. I'm Peter, from Perth in Western Australia. Was a member of MRC in 80's & 90's and involved in the Australian Morini club in the early 80's. I've got a 1985 Camel 501 that I'm getting running again, I want to convert from X2 to X3 spec with bigger fuel tank and more fuel range. Previously...
