Re: Front Indicators

Image Motorcycles in New Plymouth, New Zealand. I found them via a post on this forum titled 'Parts available for NZ owners' posted on 25 Sep 2021. http://www.morini-riders-club.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6753 I don't think they normally internationally post stuff but they were OK to post nex...

Re: Front Indicators

Problem solved. New old stock sourced from a motorcycle store in NZ that used to sell Moto Morinis. Should be in the post soon.

Front Indicators

Hi Whilst this is a long shot is there anybody in Australia that has upgraded their indicators to something fancy and still got their original indicators gathering dust? The front indicators on my much loved 2008 Corsaro Avio have had their last wobble with the metal thread having complete separated...

Re: ECU map updates

Rob I’m also in Australia and own a 2008 Corsaro Avio and have done similar kms. I bought mine second hand as a non-runner and when I got it going the fuelling was poor. It would intermittently stall when coming to a stop and also had a noticeable dead spot in the rev range. At the time (about 2015)...

Re: Running Temperature

Whilst my bike is an Avio I updated my ECU map from a 2007 map to a Avio 2009 map using the GUZZDIAG software. It’s an awesome map and compared to the earlier version. With the 2009 map the fans now come on 5 degrees higher than before, so they come on at 95 and turn off at 90 (2007 map was 90/85). ...

Re: The rubber on the dash button has deteriorated

Update A closer inspection of my dashboard cover revealed that the screen was starting to crack in a few places. So I went from needing just the rubber button to the entire case. I ended up emailing the very helpful MAE factory in Italy. They were fantastic. They were able to send me an entire new d...

Re: factory luggage

I ended up getting a Hattech plate that takes the place of the rear seat. I never have a pillion so using the pillion seat for luggage worked for me. The Hattech plate attaches in the same way the pillion seat does so I only take off the pillion seat and put it on when I need to carry some luggage. ...

The rubber on the dash button has deteriorated

Hello All All good with the Corsaro (at the moment) except for one minor annoyance. The actual rubber of the dash rubber button has deteriorated. I see that it’s common for it to be stuck in. Mine was stuck in when I got it (2nd owner). Previous owner left the bike unridden in an underground carpark...

Re: Breather (blow-by-plug) removal method

OK, answered my question.

Warmed up motor to operating temperature then switched it off and removed the air box cover. After few goes the plug eventually pulled straight out.

It looks ok so I'll use some gasket goo and see if that does the trick.

Breather (blow-by-plug) removal method

So I have another oil leak. Oil in the ‘V’ of the motor. It only leaks when motor is under load. A quick degrease and test run revealed that the oil breather or blow-by-plug is leaking where it joins the front cylinder. A search of this forum and I can see that this problem has been covered before. ...

Re: Intermittent coolant blasting out from overflow tank

The KTM equivalent radiator cap is identical to the Corsaro’s. It is 1.0 bar and has the same valve set up. The KTM part number is for KTM LC 50 as per the table of interchangeable parts listed on this website. This table lists the correct part number. Both are the same internally and externally and...

Re: Intermittent coolant blasting out from overflow tank

Sorted. When draining the coolant I noticed that it did not drain out constantly. At one point nothing came out followed by more coolant. I'm guessing it had some air in there. Replaced coolant and followed the air bleeding procedure as per the manual. New KTM radiator cap installed, these are avail...

Intermittent coolant blasting out from overflow tank

Intermittent coolant blasting out from overflow tank that has no low or high markings. This topic has been covered by a few threads but I still have a question. I purchased a 2008 Corsaro Avio second-hand, downloaded a manual and have sorted, fixed everything except this one sporadic issue. It has a...

Re: 2008 Avio stalls when coming to a stop

Any feedback with lambda off regarding stalling ? Have you test 120ch map ? No stalling with either of the updated maps 23CAMORCAVG (lambada on or off) I have not tried any other maps. I am happy with the updated map I've installed as the improvement of 23CAMORCAVG over the original 23ACMORCAVE is ...

Re: 2008 Avio stalls when coming to a stop

Update I took 10 minutes out of my life and uploaded 23CAMORCAVG WITHOUT the Lambada sensor. Response down low 'seems' better and the flat spot is virtually gone or putting it another way it feels like a slight improvement over the same map with the Lambada sensor ON. Now I'm just going to ride it. ...
