Re: MM 125 Corsaro SS in parts

Hi Tom.

Are you wanting to sell the bike complete, or are you willing to sell parts seperately.

Thanks.

Corsaro on road

Hi. Got the Corsaro registered a couple of weeks ago. I've put around 300 miles on her since and I must say , I love it Everything seems to be ok, apart from a bit of clutch slip which I will attend to when the clutch set I have ordered arrives. She has a fair turn off speed - with sprited accelerat...

Re: Gearbox whine

Hi Penman. Yes it is confined to 3rd gear. My bike had been stood for quite a time before I got it also, although I have done over 10,000 miles on it now with no gearbox issues - (I change the oil approx every 12 - 15 hundred mile) so I'm pretty sure it's ok. For the time being any way. I'm consider...

Re: Gearbox whine

Mine appears to do that as well.
Could be the first signs of impending disaster, which will almost certainly be expensive too, or it could just be a little quirk.
I'm going for the quirk until it goes pop, then I'll worry about it.

500 Dual seat

Hi. I've managed to get 'er indoors into coming out with me on the 500. Problem is it's a maestro/sport with the one and a half seat and its a bit tight for space. So has anyone got a dual seat they would be willing to part with. Not bothered if it needs a re-cover - just as long as the shape is the...

Oil grade

Hi.
Can any Corsaro owners/users tell me what grade of oil they use?

I was thinking of using the 10/40 semi synthetic which I use in my 500.

Thanks.

Corsaro 125 Kick start

Hi.
Does anyone have a new, or serviceable kick start pawl - part No 12 in table 5 of the spares catalogue.

Thanks.

Corsaro Kickstart

Hi.

This is probably a long shot but does anyone happen to have a new, or serviceable kick start pawl for a Corsaro 125.

Mine has worn to the point where it wont stay engaged with the gear when I try to start the bike leading to a gnashing sound as it slips and much frustration.

Thanks.

Crankcase cover

Hi.

I'm looking for a left hand (clutch side) crankcase cover, the one which is tapped for the oil pressure sender unit, preferably in black.

Anyone have one with decent threads etc. By the way it's for a 500, somebody more informed than I might know if the 350 is the same.

Thanks.

Re: Std controls

Thanks for the reply E.V

They are original sito pipes. Think I'll give the std pegs a try, see how I get on with them before I look at modifying anything.

Std controls

Hi. Just replaced the 2 into 1 with a standard set up on my 500. The problem is I'm having trouble getting the rear cylinder header to fit, without undue strain, over the rear set. My question is this- Are the standard pegs really that uncomfortable? I know it's a very subjective question and I woul...
