Re: Cilinder angle 3 1/2

The measurement was as follows: I did mount a degree wheel on the crankshaft. With a special plug in the cylinder head of the rear cylinder i did move the crank to both sides until it hits the special plug and did set the degree wheel at the same angle for both sides. One side BTDC and the other ATD...

Cilinder angle 3 1/2

I remember once reading a topic about the cylinder angle of the morini v-twins not being an exact 72 degrees. Does somebody know if this is true. By heart i remember it being 73° 19' 14". I measured the angle and found it to be about 73,5 degrees so it seems right. Please some information becau...

How is NLM doing? They don't respond on my e-mails for parts.

Clear. As I already mentioned i'm buying from NLM as well. I find the input from Stuart very helpful and i am certainly not trying to get them out of business.

Re: Straight cut primary gears.

Ok, i have look at their site and i am ordering stuff from them and from Tritsch in Germany. Only NLM charges 480 GBP for the set which would be around 560 euros. The 400 euro max is a bit less. I dodn't have to make a profit on them as NLM obviously has to do to stay in business. For me it will mea...

Straight cut primary gears.

Via ebay i did buy the clutch side of a straight cut primary gear. The crankshaft side was not found by the seller. I have one being made now. The guy who makes it can make a complete set for max 400 euro and may be less if he can make more at the same time. Anybody how likes to get hold on such a s...

Buiding a short stroke 350

I am looking into building a short stroke 350 with a 250 crankshaft and 71 mm bore cylinders to enable much bigger valves and higher revs. Has anyone an idea if something like this has been done in the past? Is there someone how has a 250 v crank for sale so I can try to fit it into my 350 crankcase...

Re: L5 cam

Of course i want more information. I adept the morini now for some more power and we want to be reliable this year to get a better feeling how to proceed. With your information we already made some improvement but we have to take some more steps before the start of the season.

Re: L5 cam

Yes, i know. I've seen it on there site. They charge quit an amount of money for it. I'm looking if i can buy one in Germany for a bit less. I'm not saying it is too expensive but still it not cheap ;-)
