I just checked mine ( 2013 GP) - the welds I can see are quite chunky, regular, and convex, but it's dark and the bike is dirty. I'll clean it next weekend and post pictures.

Hi, the white one is mine - now home after the palava of getting it registered with HMRC and DVLA. It's three years old, with the APTC clutch, luggage and heated grips.

Hi B, thanks for that. Yeah I've sold it now and have a used GP coming from Italy. Even if I'd lowered the pegs on the Scrambler I always felt slightly 'hulking' on it and want the touring bias of the GP. I've bought the white GP ex-rental bike. APTC, Ohlins shock, panniers and I've paid them to put the heated grips on it. 7000km. Must say their pricing is rather aggressive - I wouldn't be happy if I was selling one privately.

Now the faff of getting it registered...

Hi, yes I saw the blue one and have been in dialogue with the factory on that and some other possibilities, but they're closed until September. I'd love to get out there but the cheap flights aren't that cheap!

Hoping I might just be sorted in time for that ride out..

Actively looking for a GP

Hi Dom, actually I have discovered courtesy of the chiropractor that my right femur is fractionally shorter than my left. Hence the pain being left side only.

Update I've looked into altering the seat, air hawk seat cushion and tinkering with the pegs. I've concluded that I'm just a bit too big for it and I need a different bike.
