This has just turned up on ebay in Australia advertised as a totally original 1980 Sport Its clearly a Strada with a Sport seat, but it certainly looks very very clean - is it truly original unrestored????? You may be amazed to discover that the innards are basically the same as tacho from a Ferrari Dino.......

Check with jason baverstock at Manly Auto Instrument repairs he may have a duff one.

Routing the cables over the brake lever definitely gives a better routing from the point of view of throttle action. Unfortunately, on electric start bikes it leaves the starter button pointing straight down, so you need a thumb 8 inches long to press the starter..... :( good job mine is kick start...

i just had a look in the blue book and it shows throttle cables routed over the brake lever so hopefully both functional AND OCD original :)
