Re: Stock Air Box questions
Mine has a sort of groove or channel worn or made to accommodate the cable routing. I have had no issue with this in 17 years, except for a nipple coming off at the twistgrip once when naturally I was at the bottom of a steep hill.

Re: Strada MK5 Front Spindle washer
This is interesting. I thought why not remove my twin disc front cast wheel and check. It has not been off for a good while. What do I find? No washer either. Spindle goes through rh fork into speedo drive then through shouldered spacer on other side of wheel before exiting the lh fork. There is a g...

Re: Spark plugs
I spoke with NGK at the NEC show last Nov about fake plugs. The rep said the company actively tried to suppress ( oops!)
fake plugs but it is a never ending mission.

Re: 350 not charging the battery
Have you a copy of the Blue book Morini manual? According to the section on testing for correct charge function, you should be getting around 8amp with the meter connected in series to the red lead which goes from the generator to the battery at 6000rpm. Disconnect the three leads, 2 yellow and one ...

Re: new to morini
I have a slightly later 350, a K1 and that has the oil light, indicator light ( mine have worked faultlessly), lights on and high beam lights. The oil light comes on very rarely when running indicating that the sender has some muck in or needs replacing. I got a few in case from ebay and of course i...

Re: Excalibur jetting
I marked the twistgrip with a series of different colour paint lines to help me, 1/8 ,1/4,1/2 . Above about half I was not concerned about as it was up to half that affecting my steady throttle response. Both on the 350 and the 507 I have experimented with the idle jets sizes from 50 through to 43. ...

Re: Excalibur jetting
Go back to the front page of this website and about halfway down is a link to the Morini club.nl pages. In Technical/carburettors is a table of settings. This might be of help. My experience with the air box housing is the opposite of the oft suggested benefit of removing the flowerpot etc. Also with...

Re: Rear Master Cylinder
From some recent correspondence I had it may be that Brembo PS16 master cylinder can be used however the actuating arm needs modifying or a new arm made to fit. I rebuilt mine in 2008 and I think it will not be long before I need to do something again. This link may help https://www.morini-riders-cl...

Re: Electric starter woe
That is a good result and far better than having to push a Trident with a thrown rod from the Stratton bypass to Broome Manor Lane.
I have had the starter relay weld on once. A deft kick stopped that.

Re: atomiser/emulsion tube.
You can get an available spec 260 then drill out 0.8 mm holes, then ream with a 2.60 reamer to make a U pattern.
