Re: Rear suspension

Well, after the Mupo shock sat in its carton in the garage for about 3 years, I finally got round to installing it. But I was in for a surprise. All the necessary bits came off to access and remove the old rear shock. Removing the suspension linkage was straight-forward but when I removed the rocker...

Re: Rear suspension

Yes, the factory said it would fit and so ordered a unit from the factory. It's now in a carton in my garage but will now have to wait till the weather turns sour before I pull things apart to install it. Its supposed to be summer here in NZ now but it's more like spring. Still, some nice days among...

Rear suspension

Hi all,
My 2017 Veloce came with a Sachs rear shock. Adjusting the preload for the occasional two-up is a pain so am thinking of upgrading to a shock with a hydraulic preload. Has anyone fitted an Ohlins or Mupo with a hydraulic preload to a Veloce?

Bike won't start - Sorted now

This is a 2017 Veloce manufactured Dec 2016. Went to start the bike one day recently and it only just managed to turn over but not start. Decided to take the battery out to check it. It turned out it was an Aliant lithium battery – a bit smaller and lighter than the expected lead-acid battery. It st...

Pro Oiler chain oiler

Last year I fitted a Pro Oiler GPS-controlled chain oiler to the Veloce. I managed to fit all the components under the pillion seat. It is a brilliant device and works well. For those of you interested I sent photos of the unit and its installation as well as installation notes to the Pro oiler webs...

One of the last Veloces

Thanks to articles by Alan Cathcart, I became very interested in the MM Corsaro and so I kept a lookout for a used one here in New Zealand for a few years. Then last year (2018) I found a brand new Veloce in Milan, Italy (one of the last to roll out of the Trivolzio factory) so decided to import it....
