atomisers/emulsion tubes
With the current and probably on-going difficulty in sourcing atomisers for the old VHB carburettors, can anyone give an opinion as to if a 260AH atomiser will give a richer or weaker mixture than a 260U? The 260AH appears to have larger side holes than the 260U so does this equate to more air in th...

Re: atomiser/emulsion tube.
Hello Julian, sorry for late reply - I have replaced all the jets in my VHB carb except for the emulsifier which appears to be no longer available anywhere in the universe. I have been informed that they do in fact wear which can effect mixture and acceleration I have the original from the bike and ...

I am looking for a NEW unused atomiser Dellorto 260U for a VHB 24 carburettor.

Re: 250 anybody?
Its amazing what some bikes are selling for these days £20.000 for a Gold Star and £100,000 + for a Brough Superior its all down to the rarity value I suppose.
I wonder how long it will be before my humble 125H is so rare that it will realise that sort of dosh?

Re: Refurbishing carbs, what parts wear
Emulsifier/Needle jets tend to wear stock up, these parts are running low for old VHB carbs I could not find a needle jet for my 125H and have resorted to having one made and beware of cheap Chinese copies use only Dellorto parts.

Re: 125H chain size?
chain size is half x five sixteenths inch. not sure why its imperial for an Italian bike but that's what the blue book says. the drive sprocket has 14 teeth, not sure if its possible to get them in different sizes but I suppose its possible to have any size machined up. Hope this helps. Regards Leon...

Re: 125H chain size?
Hello Robert, I don't have the info immediately to hand, but I fitted a new chain and sprocket to my 125H so if you haven't found the size you want I will find my receipt and let you know. I fitted if I remember correctly a Reynolds chain but its a while ago now so will confirm when I find the bill....

Re: 125 WITH NO SPARK
Hello Bill, thanks for your reply, I hope Tony can sort it out for you, he is an electronics expert not the usual auto electrician and I think if it wasn't for him my 125H would be back on eBay by now - parts only! I am no electronics expert at all and have no understanding of what Tony does he is t...

Re: number 4 slide for VHB24BS
Hi Tom, thanks for the input, Eurocarb do not have any number 4 slides, they do have a reproduction 5 which I have bought from them, its well made and finished but I don't know how it will work in practice, I was told that they do give a better pick up with modern fuels. The motor has been rebuilt s...

gear change lever 125H
Hello,
I am looking for a gear change lever for a 125H not sure if the levers from the 3.5 and 500 are the same, if so that would narrow my search somewhat.
Please let me know if you have anything available.
Regards
Leonard.
