Re: Found!! - Exhaust Collets for a 350 Sport

Hi Mike, good to hear you have found the exhaust rings. I had heard of Herdan before but not looked them up. Would be interested to have a look at their store? What did you type in to find them I wonder?

Re: ignition keys

Hi Adrian, Don't know where you are in the world? However Pietro at Motori Di Marino in West Chiltington, West Sussex, England had a set of keys made for me from just the ignition barrel. It was for my AMF 250 Harley, he has a contact who does this and cost about £40 from memory. Hope this may help....

Re: Welcome new forum members - introduce yourself

Hi Bruce, Welcome to the forum. Always good to hear from fellow club members down here in the south. I'm in Worthing so maybe nearish to you. I have a 1976 Strada on the road, well when this lock down business is over! Also a 500 sport currently disassembled awaiting work and a few others. If you fa...

Hi all electrical wizards,
Any tips on cleaning/ rejuvenating the wiring loom, 500 sport. It all looks reasonable just really dirty, was all working as intended when taken off.

Re: New CEV ignition switch

Interested to know of this and any other recommend exhaust coatings, suitable for especially down pipes as the black chrome has long gone! And I'd like...

Re: Carb balance

Carburettor tinkering! I've just reduced the pilot jets to 45's, from the original 50's. What I have found is a much cleaner running engine, but I have gained what I would only describe as a slight hesitation at you guessed it 4K rpm. Certainly not a flat spot and when accelerating isn't an issue. G...

That is a point, I was just assuming it was an option. I do have some old NLM receipts, I'll check thru. Sometime.

Re: Show your bunny then i will show you mine

Hi Pedro, Bombing your post, sorry! But this maybe of interest. Bought back my 76 Strada last August after a 20 year break. The previous owner had put on a new chain sprocket set. The rear being a 36, front standard 14, the engine has 85k on it and is bog standard so I suspect probably more than a f...
