i,ve finally got my maesto to fire up but it will only start/run with choke on
can any kind person give me the basic carb settings i.e how many turns out for the throttle and mixture screws and any ideas why it will only run on choke

if the timing is out surely it would not fire on easystart would it?

after spending the winter refurbing my maestro it will not start
tere are sparks and using easy start it will run for a few seconds the cut out. I have cleaned out the carbs but it still will not fire

any ideas before i take a large hammer to it

thanks for trying to help but i have looked at this diagram on the club site and it doesnt help me being useless at reading diagrams---what i need is someone to tell me in words of one syllable what to connect to where,not everyone is au fait with mcycle electrics
