Hendre, thanks for the reply and confirmation. One thing I am not seeing on the euro carb website is the threaded intake in the PHBL 25s so I can transfer the current plastic “velocity stack” from the VHBZs…did you need to do this? Also what needle did you end up using? The on in the middle column ...

I think the headlight is 12V, all the rest is 6V.

be aware, once ordered a custom aluminium tank for my Ducati in India from a manufacturer with good reputation (Vintage Auto World; they claimed that they made tanks for Ducati Kaemna in Germany). Did a down payment and months later afer inquiery heared the contact guy ran off with the down payments...

thanks for the info so far. The bike is a 2006 Ducati GT so it is no historic vehicle. How much VAT has to be paid for modern vehicles?

pre-Brexit was easy, you could just offer the bike to the DLV with EU papers and they had to register it in the UK without modifications. How is the post-Brexit import of a EU motorcycle? I might have found the correct tank for a '77, not sure if it is strada or sport. It has rounded edges on top and nno middle ridge. Fuel cap is off centre. It has been blasted in the past and no dents or scratches but lots of surface rust. Inside also needs some work but not as bad as the outside. I...
