Re: Tyres

To close, after a LONG research, I've decided to go with METZELER ME22 front and rear after a ride on a bike fitted with them. Thanks for your comments,

Tyres

My 1980 Morini 250cc 2C needs new tyres, 2.75 x 18 and 3.00 x 18. North Leicester Motorcycles are recommending SAVA tyres. Has anyone any experience of these? I am mainly interested in GRIP rather than LONGEVITY, so what's the view of the forum?

Paioli forks

No Forum for 250cc 2C, so here goes - changing the fluid in the Paioli front forks on my 250cc 2C model, I discovered grub screws in the bottom of the fork top nuts, so curiosity got the better of me and I unscrewed them and out popped a ball bearing and a spring from each. Ah, methinks, a pressure ...

Regulator/Rectifier

Thanks for all info. in response to my request for a regulator/rectifier. One reason I didn't want to go to 12volts was I've changed all the bulbs to 6v Quartz Halogen, and the lights were OK. Another reason is there is not enough room in the battery carrier for a 12v battery. So, I'm still in the m...
