Hi, Just wondering if you know the mileage and condition of the engine. Also, would this be the 5 speed gearbox?

Re: Kanguro frame number ... Can't find it
Hi Hendre,
Thanks for that. I have now found it and it is on the steering head. The petrol tank is so big it sort of hides it. Time to get on with the restoration .
Thanks again.

Kanguro frame number ... Can't find it
Hi , I recently bought a 1991 Kanguro with log book, owner history and the V5 says frame number 3999. I had it all collected and the engine was separate from the frame when it arrived which I knew about. I have just got round to stripping it and cannot find a frame number. Can someone please tell me...

Re: 500 Sport Crankshaft dimensions
I put a brand new 500 crank on the CMM at work a few years back... Unfortunately I'd already had the main bearing ground for a roller at that point so cannot confirm new nominal right hand side main bearing size however: LHS main bearing (the split 4 point angular contact) crank journal: 32.995mm f...

500 Sport Crankshaft dimensions
Hi All,
I have a crankshaft that I believe is from the 478 engine. Does anyone know the nominal dimensions of the big end and mains please. It is unused by the looks of it so should be standard size. I checked the blue manual but could not see the dimensions. Hope you can help, thanks

Re: Help to identify a 500 tank.
Strange that. I had a black 5 speed 500 of that vintage but the frame was kinked. I then acquired a later 6 speed with a kinked frame, that had painted mudguards. I made and still have molds of all the plastic bits including the seat body work. I may need a new seat base when I pick up my 500. Is i...

Re: Help to identify a 500 tank.
Hi All, Just to say thank you very much for all the help and interest you have shown. I have now received the frame and engine number and with the help of Mark have now confirmed it is a 1979 built 500 sport frame and casings. The seat is indeed a 350 sport and the tank is from and early 2C. The fra...
