Any Interest in a 57 Veloce?

Hi Just testing the water with regards to selling my Corsaro Veloce, Getting ichy feet and thinkin about trying something else. The bike is an all black Corsaro Veloce, bought new at the end Nov 07 on a 57 plate (10 months old, 1-owner - me, with the balance of the 3yr warranty transferable). Has th...

Agreed :)

I was just referring to the suspension differences which were a bit vague on the literature. I have a pre-Ohlins Veloce and the literature did also refer to some suspension sportiness improvements without really detailling what was different.

Both great bikes as you say.

Maybe but plenty of stuff illuding to some differences, not sure what of below (if any) is Veloce specific. e.g. " Chassis Moto Morini has equipped the Corsaro 1200 Veloce with high-level components to upgrade the performance of the twin cylinder and to provide the pleasure of a sporty ride. Es...

Guvo, It may be that you need to have the TPS re-set with the new ECU, a dealer job. They should run fine together as already said. nfitz, the literature for the Veloce also state some other 'special' change to the suspension. Not sure if this is just settings or different internals, it certainly fe...

I snapped a front one off the other day, just brushing past the bike in the garage. They seem very brittle cheap plastic. I found the small retention bit and glued it back on, been ok since. Its tempting to pull them all off and add some superglue to make a semi-permanent fit. Just a pain when the b...

Thanks Nigel, So your saying the race ECU should run de-cat with no problems given a PC3 to compensate fuelling and the TPS reset. Also, sorry to be picky but I think you have your open and closed loop descriptions reversed. Closed loop systems require feedback (from lambda) to adjust fuelling. From...

The standard ECU (not fitted) has been swapped to the MORINI 001 version but the race one fitted only appears to have the smaller number. There may be another label on the ECU somewhere but when fitted only the smaller one is visible. I'll ring 3X and confirm before taking it off the bike and checki...

Thanks - I'll check tomorrow.

I had the race ECU fitted from new (with open termis) and TPS set.

Not sure if the race ecu was changed during upgrades, or just the standard ECU swapped (also supplied loose with bike for upgrades).

cheers

Dyno results with and without cat?

I am getting a PC3 in the next couple of weeks to fit with termi's and race ecu (mainly for smooth running reasons (and hopefully tank range) than performance gains). After fitting I will probably get it custom mapped (unless by that time some kind person has uploaded their own map with a similar se...

Race ECU running issues

Currently running race ECU without baffles, just had upgrades (although I dont think they touched the ECU). On the way home from 3x after upgrades I stalled twice (once at the seven toll bridge - very embarrising with a que of 20 cars behind you) when holding on clutch in 1st. It's happened a few ti...

My late 57 Veloce is currently undergoing nearly 3 days worth of upgrades!!

Aprt from ECU's it involves some major engine work around the crankshaft, not sure the details but I would have thought some1 one here must know more.

I went from diablos to Corsa 3's on my Tuono, I found the diablos a much better all year round tyre. The Corsa 3's produced some really scary moments in the winter damp conditions, they just don't warm up enough to work properly. Great in the warm summer though - just took a while to get confidence ...
