Re: concerns about 1200 engine (experiences and opinions nee

The regulator issue is common to a lot of bikes and is caused by poor connections causing a high resistance at the regulator/rectifier which result in them burning out under load. A simple fix is to remove the connectors from the block and hard wire (solder) them together, heat shrinking all the ca...

Re: Just Joined

Let us Aussie Veloce rides know if you are successful with sourcing filters.I have not been to FX or rang them since I don't know when.I don't even know if they are still in business? I don't ride much, mainly the odd commute to work and back, using the best Motul double ester oil.Been to busy raising...

Re: Stupid Button

I have been told by the Head Mechanic Dominic at Fx Power Sports that this dash mode button is pneumatic in operation. So pricking or rupturing the rubber therefore would not be such a good idea. The mode button on my Veloce is not working also, so I just leave it in the gear select position.

Stainless mesh guards work a treat with zero impactor intrusion or defect. So far so good!

Dunlop Sportmax Q2

I have just replaced the standard fitment Pirelli Diablo rear, which lasted 10500 kilometers with the following rear hoop.Time will tell how much of an improvement they are over the old pirelli's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGhMzie-boE http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/1/3841/Motorcycle-Article/Dunlo...

Re: How many miles/kilometers has your Corsaro done?

The two oil hose clamps can be repositioned east-west instead of north-south,bringing one hose beneath the other away from the crank case. For this to be done the bottom hose needs to be angled down to shorten it's length. http://i569.photobucket.com/albums/ss137/RogVMax/260310022.jpg http://i569.pho...

Re:

I have about 13'000 km on mine now. Other than the "normal" factory updates that the bike has had, the only serious problem I had was the oil hose going to the oil radiator breaking. I think I posted it on here before, but since the hoses to the oil radiator run against the engine, they b...
