Corsaro for sale. 2006 with full 2008 upgrades, only 8200m.

I'm selling my Corsaro, it's listed on e-bay at: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260505550175&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT Or give me ring on 07515 993933. I would be very interested in a partial trade with a 31/2 - preferably one needing restoration or some TLC. It's in ex...

How many miles/kilometers has your Corsaro done?

The bikes have been out for a few years now (4??) so I'm wondering what sort of distances have been covered. Although mine has reached the 3 year mark when I got it last year it had only done 2,000 so as I've only added another 6,000 to it I'm guessing there must be alot of higher mileage ones out t...

Thanks for the info Chris, I do have a manual for it and it says the gaskets should be changed......however as they are £78 each (that's right, £156 a pair!!) I wondered if anybody else has had the cam covers off without renewing them. To be fair to 3X when they rechecked the price they did agree ...

Are new cam cover gaskets required or are they re-useable?

I've got to check my valve gaps (6000 miles) so I'd like to know if the gaskests are the re-useable type or do I need to change them? Also is there anything else I should change at the same time? Spark plugs? any other seals? etc, etc.

Looking really good.

I have one small suggestion for you to think about......I've got the same oil cooler guard as you and I've sprayed it satin black (Smoothright), to my mind it looks alot better as it makes the V shape of the engine really stand out.

Check out these beautifully made rear footrest hanger blanks

I've removed my rear footrest hangers but didn't like the look of the bare threaded brackets so a friend has made some blanking plates. They are beautifully machined, fit perfectly (one side is recessed to accomodate the exhaust bracket) and anodised black. He made couple of pairs and now for sale o...

I'm trying to juggle things so that I can do the factory visit, my problem is the amount of time off work/away from the family - I'm already pretty committed to holidays next year. However......putting the bike on the train overnight both ways to cover the duller northern Europe stretch will save a ...

Speedo sensor: Gap between it and the disc bolts??

I've got to replace the speedo sensor, so does anybody know the correct gap to set it to?

I've got an electronic manual but cannot find any details.

Thanks.

Does your jacket smell............??????????

Over winter I've been wearing a textile (as opposed to leather) jacket and it has developed a strong wiff of exhaust fumes - I find it kinda nice but my wife is not so keen!!! I think the bike is running a little rich but not what I'd call badley so - the inside of the pipes are a bit sooty but noth...

I know what you mean about the noise Zeuss, I heard your actual bike running at the BMF (I was asking about the pipes) - I thought it embarrassingly loud. I live in a small village that often gets the 'sunday' boys blasting through on their loud-piped race reps and it really gets on my nerves - so I...

Poor Fuel consumption / running rich.....maybe?

My fuel consumption is between 29 and 35 mpg - no complaints as it's such good fun! However my exhuausts are always a sooty so I'm wondering if it's normal. It's an 06 bike with all the 08 updates done by 3X and runs really well, not rough, does not stall/cutout and starts immediately so I'm relucta...

In English (+ some other languages), and very detailed. Comes on a CD and you just copy over onto your computer (it's a PDF document so will need Adobe reader, free download). Seems excellent - it looks like a copy of the official Moto Morini proper dealer workshop manual. I'd happily strip my bike ...

Where to get the correct Agip 10W60 oil.

I've struggled to find a supplier of the correct fully synthetic Agip 10W60 oil, however this place will send it: http://www.motoworlduk.co.uk/racing4t10w60.html Good service and it arrived the next day.......however it is VERY expensive at £12.75 ltr (= £51 an oil change!!). Maybe I should have b...

I suppose another theory could be that there was never much grease in the bearing to start with, therefore allowing water and debris to get in - I'm trying not to think about the top bearing now!!

Good to hear that higher mileage ones haven't suffered this.

Notchy headrace bearings....mising a seal????

Picked up my used Corsaro a few weeks ago with 2000 miles on it. Set the front and rear sag for my weight and experimented with compression & rebound settings to get the handling spot on for my style - therefore I know there was nothing wrong with head bearings when I got it. Everything peachy f...
