Re: Squires Cafe

A nice day for a ride.... Only Morini there, but that seems to be par for the course. A great selection of other bikes, including some interesting 80s Japanese as well as more modern. http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/aa359/mickeymoto3103/Morini/Selby-20111023-00042.jpg http://i1193.photobucket.co...

Squires Cafe

Hi,

I'll be at Squires Cafe, Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire on Sunday at mid day if any other Morini owner fancies a cup of Darjeeling.

I'll be on my Morini, so can't miss me.

Re: Latest factory news

Maybe the time for the economical, low emission motorcycle is here again for all round use including communting?

Aren't KTM and Triumph producing 350s and there appears to be a few 250s around again?

Bring back the 31/2 and 500!

Re: Suitability of 500 for touring

I have taken the plunge and recently purchased a 500 Sport with Tarozzi rear sets. I find it quite comfortable, went for a ride today and managed 100 miles with no problems confort wise. The fuel economy is also quite astounding...... it went on to reserve at 200kms and I only put in 9 litres, the e...

Re: Throttle - cables pop out

Problem solved- it needs a bolt in a pre drilled hole. There was a piece of plastic to prevent the barrel going too far but obviously broken.

Throttle - cables pop out

Hi, I suppose this applies to 31/2 too. Has anybody had problems with cables coming out of the handlebar end of the throttle? I see the barrel goes around so far that the cables pop out. I have put a piece of plastic in the bottom and this prevents the barrel going too far back, unfortunately, the t...

Road Tax for older vehicles

Hi, Got this from the ILOC. In 1997 the Government decided to change the rolling 25 year tax exemption to a blanket vehicle must be manufactured before January 1st 1973. There is a petition to reinstate the rolling date (30 years for some reason). Just think, anything older than 1981 would be tax em...

Re: Damaged Coguaro

Dean,

Have you tried http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/home-1-0.html ?

They appear to manufacture stators, and being Japanese (Kokusan?) they may already make one.
