Yes, the Molano was a pain, it was hard seeing if you were doing 32 or 36, the differebeing points and a fine.
The Milano speedo is made by Aim and is programmable. There is an app that can be downloaded. The Corsaro has a digital speedo.
Doesn't help the current problem!

Re: Hone strong are these engines
I wouldn’t mind meeting up with you if you don’t mind the bigger Morinis tagging along. Well once it’s back and fixed anyway. The more the merrier, but first I need to be able to rude my bike. Hopefully I'll be getting my leg over shortly. I see you are in Cumbria. I presume somewhere along the A69...

I have a 31/2.
Yes, a meet up would be good. Lots of interesting cafes in Northumberland.
Tried Riiverside at Chollerford? Just along from Sycamore stump.

Re: Hone strong are these engines
Can’t wait to get out on some of the great roads that we have round here, especially upper Teasdale and Weardale Thanks again for your help Great roads, shame about the cafe on Hartside. I prefer the roads around the borders, they are very interesting, although I do like a north south ride to the d...

Re: Wheel bearing tapered washers
Hello George, Yes it does help, thank you. I have installed 2RS bearings (rubber sealed). The bearings that came out looked original, as in metal shielded on the outer sides and bare on the inside which makes sense. I was just wondering why the washers were tapered, maybe it was to keep the washer a...

Wheel bearing tapered washers
Having installed new wheel bearings I forgot which way around the tapered washers went. They must have a use as they are tapered. Do they go inner race in or outer race in? I'm trying to work out their function as the spacers or spindles usually press against the inner part of the race. Thanks. Mike.

Re: Speedo converter
The problem I find is the kmh dials means most of the speedo is unused and trying to discern your speed is difficult. eg 50mph is where 30mph would be on an mph speedo.
Better to mark up the speedo and live with the kilometres on the odometer in my opinion.

That light was on the earlier models and yes it stays on.
If your's is 1980 it probably didn't have that light... maybe, possibly

Re: new to morini
I think the earlier 31/2s didn't come with indicators (not mandatory in the UK until about 1982 anyway) so the red light on the earlier models became the indicator repeater on the later models.

(No longer) Wanted - rear wheel bearing spacer
My bearing spacer for the rear wheel is seized to the bearing outers. I intend destroying one bearing so I can knock out the other then remove the remains of the bearings from the spacer. I may end up ruining the spacer. Just in case, has anybody a spare cast rear wheel bearing spacer, please? Part ...

Mine has indicators, lights on and main beam.
