Re: Kanguro swing arm pivot bolt removal

Thanks for the reply. It isn't coming out, but luckily the frame is a scrapper, so it can be butchered. I'd rather preserve the swing arm. Seems strange because the swing arm is moving ok and the thread area on both sides of the splindle don't look corroded. I tried using a centre punch to unscrew i...

Kanguro swing arm pivot bolt removal

Little bit of help required please. I'm trying to remove the swing arm pivot bolt from what I think is a Kanguro X1. It's a mono shock rear end with a front drum brake. Re: Sport Demons

That surprises me. I thought the smooth finish of the powder coating would have helped the tyre's bead to move.

Re: L-5 Cam wanted

EVguru on here has the facility to get these cams made up, as do I, but he is more inclined to do it.

He may even have some already done on the shelf.

Re: Couple of pics of my 3 1/2

You've obviously put some hours into that, and well worth it. Personally I would have had the wheels silver and the tank and side panels just the dark blue without the silver panels. But that's just my opinion.

Re: Shocks - Brand and length.

Just to throw another manufacturer in there. I used alloy Falcon Shocks on my 350 road race bike and thought they looked and performed great. I had to do a little bit of filing on the top mounting lugs on the frame to accomodate them though.

Re: Kanguro Brake Problems

I forgot that I've also got a Camel with a front drum brake. I do know that this is stuck solid though and haven't investigated why. I haven't checked to see if they are the same, but I would think that they are.
