Re: For Sale - Pair of Granpasso Side Panniers

I recall that there was also damage to the front left fork and the rear swing arm which there do not appear to be photos of. The lack of availability of a large number of parts caused Aviva to write off the bike rather than major structural damage.

Re: Is it worth it, and what's it worth?

My Granpasso has recently been written off by the insurance company although initially a costing was made of the parts required for repair. One stumbling block was the lack of availability of a new swing arm and body panels. These might have been forthcoming in due course but not in the time scale t...

Re: For Sale - Pair of Granpasso Side Panniers

I was a bit bruised and shaken but basically ok after the accident - wet road, left hand bend and shiny bitumen after a road repair. :( . Main piece of luck was that there were no cars coming the other way!! I could have had the bike for parts (plus some cash) but on balance I felt that the full cas...

For Sale - Pair of Granpasso Side Panniers

Re: Fuel Reserve again

Hi, My fuel light comes on after about 17-20 litres used although I don't really pay much attention to it as I use my Garmin Zumo for fuel management - I have programmed this for a range of 190 miles. I haven't relied on bike guages since I ran out of fuel with a BMW 1150 GS. On the "Product Up...

Granpasso Product Upgrade

Just back from 2 months in Paris to find a letter dated 26th February 2010 from Three Cross saying that my Granpasso is part of an upgrade campaign. I have not spoken to 3X yet but presumably other owners have had this as well. Is this for a software upgrade that I seem to recall there was a post on...

Would be great to have a Granpasso meet up. I am only part time in Dorset (currently back in Paris) but with enough notice I could most probably be back. Provisionally planning to be back end November for the NEC Bike Show.

500 Mile Review

Now done 500 miles including a day trip in Devon (Teign Valley, Exe Valley and Dartmoor) Fantastic performance from my Granpasso. It has surpassed all my expectations!! :D In terms of issues raised on this forum: Fuel light comes on between 95 and 105 miles. Speedo overstates GPS by approx 5% A bit ...
