Alan j. e- mail problems.

My e-mail address has been "spoofed!" Any e-mail from me will have a proper subject heading. Any other just delete. It seems in most cases to be just a nuisance, it seems to originate from "across the pond".

Re: Morini 500 Battery

I too have fitted an Oddesy very expensive battery to my 500-and fitted a new worm drive e.t.c.-but still when cold and stiff [especially this weather] the engine will not spin fast enough!! Once started on that awful kickstarter and warm the "button" works! Alan J.

Sorry about your "mishap", Bruno!! I was in Switzerland with my wife, Judy, who fell-not off our A.J.S. but over some steps and fractured 2 fingers! Then we were riding my vintage 1928 B.S.A. at "Banbury-no problems there!

Re: Starting problems

Hi, Pete!-I found a Morini at Hands Cross-but not you-it was "Morgans Morini"-but he was nowhere to be found! At Brighton I found another 500 Morini and owner-a lapsed club member-I think he knows you! I did almost 300 miles and was as "fresh as a daisy" when I got home! [I lie!]...

Re: Kanguro X, what battery?

Some good "info" here! 12 volt conversion is a good idea as the 6volt system is a bit feeble!-the headlamp bulb, as everyone knows is12 volt and is powered directly!-a very strange mixed system! The original battery is the same as a Honda Melody-but they are now all made in China and rubbi...
