It's may be tolerated but it 's giving bad feeling to respons on low speed /trottle almost closed ; I minimised gap with soft layer of rubber: on/off sensation at low speed (city driving) vanished almost completely.

Hi Steve , don't worry the bike runs fine from 2000rpm on!: consider that a run is not a typical use of the bike in normal conditions : at very low rpm a quite full opened throttle in 5 th or 6th : there is no mixture velocity & at once a lot of air ( consider pistons bore !), and measurement so...
