Re: Panniers
Kriega is good, and waterproof if used correctly. I have used a 20 litre one as a tank bag on the Corsaro on several occasions, and have also loaded up the Granpasso with the 30 litre version. We had a pair of Swagman throw over panniers when we went to France in 1980 on the 500 (two up, 1,500 miles...

Nice!
Will have to get up your way when summer finally arrives, or see you at Cadwell?
Good riding,

Re: Parts
John - Now could be a very good time to take on an importer / dealership - Morini are allegedly close to launching a range of 'cheaper', Chinese engined 650 twins to support the high-end 1200s (which we all know and love as fabulous machines...). Worth asking the question of them! Good riding, and k...

Re: Welcome new forum members - introduce yourself
Hi Oli - welcome to the wonderful world of Morini (most of the time...) I wonder what the registration of your Strada is. I only ask because I sold a Strada back in the early 80s when I traded up to a 500, and it disappeared a couple of years later, and doesn't feature on current DVLA records. My Br...

Re: Back in the saddle
Hi Painter; Mine came out of the Factory in Bologna in May / June 2013; this was the period of Morini Rent and I believe that it was used as a demonstrator for a period and then offered as a 'As New' bike in October 2015, when Morini had moved to south of Milan. I bought it with a few thousand kilom...

Re: Back in the saddle
Hi Painter; On mpg, my 2013 model year GP gets me around 45 when I ride it for some distance - i.e., not around town. I've reached 200 miles on a couple of occasions with only some 10 -15 miles on reserve. It pulls from just off tick-over and hasn't stalled on me (yet) over 20,000 miles. Mind, the c...

Re: Replacement Side Panel Rubber Pins
Thanks guys;
I'll look at this - we have a few sets left, and if a partial refund is in order I will sort that out as well...
Good riding, and stay safe (doesn't apply to you, Mr Dom as you're in NZ...)

Re: Back after 2 years in the company of a German.
Welcome back Painter! My second GP has just clicked over 20,000 miles in 5 years, so a not hugely large mileage, but (most) of them great fun. Hopefully we will all be able to get a few more miles in over the spring / summer of 2021... Some new Club venues to get to since you were last Morini mounte...

Good riding Pete!
(Seriously - I suspect that the X-Cape will be out before the season gets under way - although how many and which countries is open to question...)

Re: German Morini Club Website
Mentioning Web Maestro's,
I notice that ours has tastefully decorated the MRC header page to highlight his two favourite Morini... (Can't just say his Morini as he has more than three now!)
Chuckle - just in case you thought that this was a serious post,
