Re: Bike won't start - Sorted now

LiFePo batteries are (very) OK. Can be charged with old fashioned charger, however any intelligent/maintenance charger, will kill them.

And there is the more budgetfriendly ZT.....

Morini claims
The tank (smaller, thinner) compared to the previous Corsaro ZZ, along with an unchanged saddle enables easier dismounting and an easier, more relaxing ride.

Re: Speedo sensor

Front is from a MV Agusta but with custom inner parts from a local suspension specialist. As the morini axle is smaller diameter I had to use inner bushings, this is no problem. The radial agusta/ducati marzocchi's are regularly on offer on ebay, for instance. Or a rac 50 - but then I would have to ...

Re: Speedo sensor

Those bolts will hardly save any weight and are also near to the center of the axle. So any weight loss will be futile. Better save up for some PVM's or similar lightweight wheels https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3839/33272967571_6ffdeb25bf_c.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3811/33402504915_7f0ec92...

You could also order from Wolfgang Tritsch or here (with partslist and prices) http://shop-hsi-custombikes.de/index.php?cPath=5&XTCsid=4ed5ab3a0e771941cca1cd08fb6ead57 , both in Germany. The original is the UFI. There was also an american company that had developed a 'permanent', washable/reuasa...

Re: 2006 Corsaro upgrade front master cylinder

Worth bearing in mind that there's no switch. I thought about trying to make something to mount the OE switch but in the end just shorted the wires so you can still start the bike whilst in gear with the clutch in. Mine can sometimes be a pig to get into neutral when stationery. Particularly if you...

Re: Bike lift

There is a usefull one from becker technik in germany http://ital-web.de/forum/userpix/1501_Corsaro_Becker_Staender2_2.jpg I use paddock stands, have mounted these on the rear, to avoid damaging the speedo sensor when using universal " flat" lifters https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5502/14315...

Re: The rubber on the dash button has deteriorated

No force, gently pry open with a blunt screwdriver or better a plastic thingy used for car-dashboards. Be patient, no force, otherwise the screwdriver will dent the dashboard. Once open you can easily remove the microswitch and any eletronics store should have a replacement, it is a standard compone...

For those that dare/want to read the report, it is available here (german): http://ital-web.de/forum/viewtopic.php?p=56296#56296 , Siggi's post of 01-01-2016. The report took more than a year and you can not take the words of german engineers/scientists lightly, how much (as a fan) i would like to. ...

Re: Battery

I have the motobatt. However, sometimes my momo wouldn't start. Have checked the complete wiring/switches/charger/regulator - twice  But still, preferable around a terrace/ride with mates/when you're complete alone in the middle of nowhere - it wouldn't start. After ca. 30 minutes - it would -...
