Re: 350 Kick Starts - last one sold at Mdina Italia

I’ll have a chat and relay anything useful. The main problem will be the knuckle with the splines. Forging a part would be ridiculously pricey but maybe we can find a kick start from another more numerous bike that could be modified. Watch this space!

Hi

That would be useful, maybe I can use it. Let me know a price?

Re: 350 Kick Starts - last one sold at Mdina Italia

Specifically, the last swan neck for a r/set Sport. I’m making enquiries with a friend in the classic restoration business about making a better alternative for sports wirh r/sets. If there’s any appetite out there it would be good to know as he could produce limited runs. Certainly it’s a part that...

Thanks, that could solve my problem, as Mdina have a kickstart. I’ll pm but how much would you want?

I have a 2-1 Ricky Racer pipe on my 350. It sounds fantastic.

Re: Lights issue

There are a lot of dodgy LED Replacement bulbs out there. I fitted one from Paul Goff and it’s fine. Bright and good pattern http://www.norbsa02.freeuk.com/goffyWhyNotLEDs.htm Regarding brakes, my 350 has a floating disk, Brembo caliper and m/cylinder and it stops really well! It’s also got switchge...

A sticky clutch and not much spare time relegated my 350 to the back of the garage for a while but I’m happy to say that some spare time has let me get it fixed and it’s going great!

Martin Gelder Memorial Gathering June 8th 2019

Martin Gelder very suddenly lost his life to cancer on 2nd July 2018. A group of his friends have organised a get together to remember him and celebrate his life at one of his favourite destinations for a ride out, the Super Sausage Café at Pottersbury on Watling St (the A5, post code NN12 7QD). The...

Martin Gelder - RIP

Martin Gelder passed away last week after a short illness. He was well known amongst Morini circles for his much modified 350 Sport on which he attended several MRC track days, and his write ups on the bike that featured on the Real Classic website that he ran. He'll be much missed by family, friend...

Track Day 2018 - any one from London?

I really want to do the TrackDay this year, but not having a van of my own it makes for 3 days off work and 3 days van hire which isn't viable.

Is anyone going up from South London that would have space in a van for a bike?

Clutch Problems

I'm having some issues with the clutch on my recently rebuilt 350 Sport. It's generally fine, if a bit more notchy than I'd like, but if the bike gets very hot (when you're stuck heavy slow moving traffic you can't get through, for example) the clutch get progressively worse as the bike gets hotter....

Re: Back on the road again

The damper is a White Power unit, though fairly old. I'll take a snap of the mirror.

The bike's also got a Brembo front brake system and floating disk - I thought it might be too much but it's beautifully progressive in use.
