Re: Swing arm failure
All; Sorry to hear of the breakage, and glad that you got through it in one piece. The earlier model was probably the 9.5 / 11.5 which had a simple welded up steel swing arm. The Milano has a multi-part welded solution and may have a different geometry. The Factory advised running the bike with a sl...

Re: Broken Swingarm
I got to over 25,000 miles before letting the GP go earlier this year - and then only because I was finding moving the bike around fully loaded was becoming a little more difficult due to advancing age... There was no sign of wear / a break at the swing arm brace point which is where the fractures h...

Early Sport / Strada parts book available again
Hi all; Due to a glitch on my part I hadn't relisted this on the Products Pages - now rectified. I'm taking a few to the AGM this w/e and have listed the remainder on the products pages. The price is held for now but I'll be marking them up when I'm back from the weekend. Of course, they will all be...

DART - Side and other panels
Just a brief update for those who might be wondering... Prototype panels are now to hand and are being checked for quality and fit. Once those who are involved in this project are happy with both we will be contacting those who have expressed an interest / paid their deposit with details of the next...

Re: ATG Binder
For everyone interested in Binders! (That's all five of you at present!) I've ordered a limited run of these and hope to be able to keep them to close to the price quoted for a limited period - i.e.; until after the AGM in September! We might even be able to do a special offer to people paying cash ...

Re: Rubber components/badges
There's a plan, Tom!
Same time as the Milan show usually - and they will have the new 1200 engine and X-Cape (?) 1200 on display... worth a long weekend (well - that's what I'm telling Diane).
Good riding,
CC

Re: Screen
Stew; It's possible that the factory can supply a replacement. According to this months Bike magazine there are less than a dozen GP's in the UK, four of which are on SORN, but an active dealer involved with the modern 1200s could help? (That'd be MotoHub so give them a call - they might have someth...

Re: ATG Binder
For all those requesting binders; I have a quote from our previous supplier - so we aviod the costs of creating artwork, etc., and am running this past the committee for approval. I would look to order 100 - if you all surprise me and put in lots of orders which means I can buy 250 they would be sli...

Re: ATG Binder
Thanks guys;
I'll get an update on costs and look to put an order in - subject to several pre-orders of course! (I need another one myself now so that moves this closer to the front of the queue!)

Re: The Seiemezzo
Thanks for sharing - looks like great fun! We've just spent the weekend at the Scottish Bike Show, and MotoMondo, who handle the imports into the UK, had a stand there - their first for two and a half years, so possibly their first time out with Morini? Both the Seiemezzo STR and SCR were on display...

Re: Morini Sport 1200
Welcome, Matt; The 1200 engine is a wonderful creation, and if you're in the South West there are some great places to reach on such a beast. We are hoping to get down that way (well, north Devon) in mid-May on a GranPasso, and are looking to meet up with a few fellow Morinists, so lets hope the wea...

Cracking issue and MotoHub should be delighted with the unintentional star billing!
Like others, I thought that the inside-out cover was a sly reference to the wonderfully weird world of the Matrix!

Re: ducati desert X/GP
Drop in on MotoHub at Stoke on Trent - they can probably tell you more about the 1200 X-Cape (as its being branded) and you can aso look over the range of 650 twins...
As you say, to those of us with the appropriate bias, nothing beats the Lambertini 1200 twin!
Good riding in 2023,
