It is....

Although, by Irish Road Race standards, it is a motorway!

I'm off to the Ulster GP again this year!

Aye it doesn't have to be the TT, although it will be a particularly big splash in the centenary year. Profiteering? Always an unfortunate element at any TT....It is sure to be especially so this year :( To put a little balance in the issue though, for the rest of the year there is little tourist tr...

Hi Sorry, I only just spotted this post  If anybody is coming THIS year. Well, I shall be around....... There are a few regular places for meets, but as we are likely to be so few, I suggest we tag onto my friend across the road who runs the Benelli meet. He usually uses the Crosby,whic...

Interesting info.

Worth archiving....

I think the reason you are not getting any replies is not so much that no one is interested......more that it is really a specialist area that few folk have taken on.

Well done for that.

Forza!

Well, I suppose it only comes down to convention. If you look at it this way, the 'Japanese' version probably makes more sense..... Everything to do with going is on the left (Clutch & Gearshift) Everything to do with stopping on the right. :) I'm sure that 90+% of the time I would be fine with ...

Now that is an interesting snippet there about master cylinders, Paul.....

Would that mean the standard m/cyl of my single disc 1977 350 Sport should be sufficient for a twin disc upgrade?

Aye, I can see where you are coming from with that, Howard. As chrome is such a hard material, I suppose grinding does make more sense. As I am just using mine on the road, with current traffic levels I think I shall go the twin disc upgrade route myself....... I have sourced an additional caliper &...

I was brought up on Old Brit iron..... 3TAs, A10s, T110s etc.

Really had got out of the habit though.........

I am just concerned at getting confused at critical moments!

If you have it chemically removed it is not going to true up any wear, and it may damage the surface which would lead to excessive wear..

This is another thing I am considering at the moment. I had heard that the Tarozzis do not fit... There is also the even more exotic Artesiani version, which alledgedly is superior......although still made from pigeon poo cast alloy :? Having ridden from London to Manchester at a self-imposed modest...

As regards the exhaust threads I would suggest taking the heads to a trusted local light engineering shop and asking them to helicoil them. It is quite a substantial size helicoil and they would probably have to order them specially, but I would think it would be the preferred option. TBH I would as...
