For a new one you could try Alex Luzzi in Italy or Herdan in the states. Somebody might well have a used one, though.

Re: Grimeca master cylinder lever operation
Hi there,
no, that's exactly how it should be. It's a vulnerable area though, with no real protection from road dirt so it pays to occasionally remove the lever and the cupped part and grease everything.

I've got LEDs in my instrument lights (green) and in all idiot lights except the indicator one.

Re: Timing belt change
I'm sorry I missed this question - next time, follow these four simple steps: 1. Get a scalpel/Stanley knife. 2. Carefully slice the old belt lengthways in two and cut the front half off. 3. Slide on your new belt halfway and then carefully cut off the remaining old half. 4. Slide new belt fully hom...

My take with joyriders is that if they can start it, then figure out the RHS gear change, then good luck to them.
A different story, however, with the white van.

My 3½ won a Grammy!
Greatest Representation About Moto Morini Yet  I did an all-day Gold safety course on my '83 K1 last Saturday, in the hills north of Auckland. Somewhat predictably, mine was the only Moto Morini there, among the grasshoppers and rockets. Even more predictably, my fellow-riders were all over the...

Exactly! But the Tarozzi riser ones achieve the same goal without the faff.MickeyMoto wrote: ↑25 Mar 2022 07:21 As we age Sport handlebars take their toll on the creaking back. A lot of Sport owners have converted to Strada top yoke and bars. May be a few Sport ones around!!

Re: another new Sport owner 76 or 77?
Dom, unfortunately their site says the top fork yoke is no longer available, however, I'll contact them to confirm. Plan 'B is to cut and grind down the handle bar brackets, then paint/polish the top fork yoke and apply one of those beautiful Sport badges from our cousins across the ditch. Damn! Th...

Oh yes! Malcolm's badges are things of beauty and you absolutely get what you pay for.Dom may also know if the guy in kiwi-land still makes the beautiful metal badges that say 'Sport' for the top yoke.

Re: another new Sport owner 76 or 77?
Likely somebody preferred an easier riding position as the clip-ons and no rearsets is hard work! So, just in case you wanted to replace that set up with the proper yoke: https://www.obsoletebikeparts.com/a-64554946/frame-parts/moto-morini-350-sport-upper-fork-yoke-part-no-421102-420837/ My clip-ons...

Re: another new Sport owner 76 or 77?
Nice bike, John!
I'm curious about why it has handlebar mounts at all, though. Sports originally had clip-ons.
Does it have the 'S' stamp on the crankcase?
Ditto on the rearsets. Mine was fitted with Tarozzis when I got it but there are others out there.

Re: Fitting new calliper seals
I know there's a choice of inner diameters (16 or 19mm) but as far as I know, the o/d is the same for both.
Happy to be corrected, though.

Original Bosch starter-motor relays available.
I've just picked up a new (NOS) one of these. There's a few places stocking them, if you hunt around. I imagine there's a modern equivalent available but I would prefer not to do that if I can still get an original.
