Charging problem
My x3 starts first kick or easily by electric starting the battery has been trickle charged. After a ride the battery is flat and the electric starter won't turn it over. Putting a volt meter across the battery shows no rise with revving. Does this mean the charging stator has packed up or has the r...

broken tachodrive
The tachodrive on my kanguru x3 has broken. Has anyone had one repaired or repaired one? I got a strada one only to find it rotated the other way. Tried asking in the off road section any ideas?

Tacho drive
my Kanguro X3 tacho drive has given up the ghost. Attempts to purchase a new one so far has resulted in me finding standard 3 1/2 ones run the opposite way and have a different part number. Can they be repaired? Alternatively has anyone got one for sale?

Re: X3 carbs
Thanks for your help. It is so tight under the tank to release the enhancers i can't do it with gloves on! I will be able to balance the carbs and sort out the pipe work. I hadn't come across Eurocarb before either , most useful.

X3 carbs
A few of questions, I have a Kanguro x3. Does a Kanguro 2 or1 tank fit?. The reason I am asking is the carb enricher leavers are so in accessable. There are so many pieces of tubing from the carb, what do they all do ? my strada has far fewer(and at present runs much better!) . I have seen reference...

Re: Hard Chroming discs
I didn't realise that the rear discs were chrome plated from the state of my recently aquired X3. But new pads , fluid change have left a wooden but functional shiny front brake and a revolving plate at the back that stops the wheel turning on the stand (and for the MOT ) but is pretty horrible to u...

Kanguro x3 tyres
Nearly got the Kanguro on the road only to find the rear tyre is prehistoric. It is an Avon 18x460 Gripster and has very little clearance to the chainguard. The front is a more recent Bridgestone trail wing which does have a 460 x18 rear equivalent. Is the rear size correct? Is this the way to go or...

Re: Fuel lines Kanguro X3
Thanks for your help. Wish I could upload the picture . The T tube arm has been attached to one of the other carb breathers on the same side hence there was no "spare " end to join to the tap on the tank. Obvious when you know! One step closer to back on the road.

Fuel lines Kanguro X3
Having recently acquired an X3 , I have had the tank off but now coming to reconnect everything I cannot work out where the second small diameter tube from the right side petrol tap should be connected to or what it is for. (Part NO 140757 helpfully labelled tubo nero in my parts book) Compared with...
