Re: Marzocchi rear shock servicing
A couple or years ago I rebuilt 2 pairs of Marzocchi Strada shocks, the ones with the piggy back air/oil reservoir. Some of this info may be of help… I had the springs and bodies blasted and powder coated. Rebuild kits were available for a variety of Marzocchi shocks but since the company was closed...

Re: Broken Swingarm
Here’s a thing: I was down at Moto Corsa earlier having my MV serviced and talking to Ed who works there (and is always very helpful) I asked if they’d supplied any Morinis this year, he told me about a GP they supplied which the new owner took straight off on a trip and crashed it, riding quite har...

Re: Gran Passo R and 2016 prices
There's a test of the GP-R here (in Italian): http://www.moto.it/prove/moto-morini-granpasso-r.html And also an interview with Jannuzzelli (also in Italian): http://www.moto.it/news/moto-morini-oggi.html It makes interesting reading (via google translate) it seems he has recognized the need to move ...

Re: Gran Passo R and 2016 prices
It does not have ABS and appears not to be euro 4 compliant. The Motociclismo article notes that Morini say it's a business decision not to use electronics in order to "preserve the feeling of full control"... But all models will have ABS and be Euro 4 compliment for 2017. So don't expect ...

Re: checking on oil filter
Hi Thatch,
I just measured the correct UFI filter:
Diameter: 50mm
Height: 58.5mm
Inner Dia: 17mm
So I would say the K&N would not fit. Probably best to buy a batch from Europe, I get mine from NLM.
Cheers,
Robin

Re: 1200 parts for sale
Hi Frankie, The sump guard is still available, this is the original style one, not the Gran Passo style one which the factory are selling for the Scrambler now. Picture below, hopefully. Mine was also the black & white version. A loverly bike, as I’m not a tall gent the scrambler was just a bit ...

Re: Scrambler for sale spotted
That was my Scrambler, not sure how it ended back at 3X as I px'd it at Moto Corsa, though they have close ties. I bought it from 3X in Dec 2010 when the factory was up for sale. If any one is interested, I'd be happy to answer any questions. A very comfortable and brilliant bike to ride. Cheers, Ro...

Re: Wheels Leaking Air
I had the same problem with my Scrambler (rear wheel initially), I took it back to Three Cross who were the UK Morini importers (though the factory had just shut as this was 2010) and they put an inner tube in. I assumed as they were the importers and had done this on numerous of the 1200s with spok...

Re: 1200 SCRAMBLER - side plate
Hi Dugal, The factory http://www.motomorinimotorcycles.eu still show the side plate for sale as an accessory under the Machine Components section, quite pricey by the time you add together the plate and the decal. I ordered the Scrambler leather side bag earlier this year, although I ordered it from...
