Hi, Do not know if the flywheel does the job, does it heve the extra cup on the other (outer) side which will catch the starter shoes? Cannot see from the pictures on eBay. You still need a 12V stator (or modify yours) as a Kanguro does not generate enough power to change the whole system over to 12...

Hi, Battery: CB18L-A or YB18L-A to be placed just before the rear mudguard Regulator and e-start motor right carter I have if you like. You also need another flywheel with a special rim to catch the starter, better off buying a whole stator/flywheel assembly for a 3 1/2 or 500. The wire harnass you ...

When you change the timing belt you only have to make sure the marks on the rollers stay where they are. Before you take off the old belt line up the marks on the rollers with the marks on the casing, I usually rotate the engine pushing the belt outwards untill 3/4 of the belt is off and then line u...

Hi, I can't explain the differnece in grease nippels (except that they stripped the right wire replacing one and did a rethread) The crews in the middel of the fork caps are probably there to releive excess pressure (there is a spring/ball under the screw) but you'll have to ride a bumpy road pretty...

RE: spray paint across powder coat?
had word from another forum that modern powder coats (multiple applications) are much different from the early types (only heavy duty industrial coatings). Normal paint will stick to modern coats nicely and many professionals even use as the first base coat because it is so durable. If you're not su...

spray paint across powder coat?
I think spray paint looks much better then powder coat (allthough the latter is more durable) but I'm stuck with a project which has 75% powder coated parts. Does anybody know if it is possible to put a spray paint across powdercoat (with a special bonding layer)?

Re: Paioli forks
Hi, these spring/balls are stock for all older Morini forks, had 'm in my Marzocchi on my 3 1/2 '74. I think they are indeed pressure releive valves for extremes. I cleaned 'm and put am back where they belonged, still have to find the bump that will engage 'm though. Driving a speed bump at 100km/h...

Is a 125H frame the same as a 250(V or T)?
Hi,
Just a question for arguments sake, I always thought a 125H frame was the same as a 250 frame. Anyone out there who can shed some wisdom on this?
André

RE: True early Sport??
Hi Joe, Any chance of sending a link to a picture? As far as originality goes: * your frame number checks out as a '74 Sport (http://www.motomoriniclub.nl/framenumbers.html) * I know for sure that in '74 Sports engines were stamped with an S. The Dutch importer in those days did not like the Strada ...

Velocity Stacks
I found some really nice aluminium velocity stacks but kind of forgot the rule of thumb about enlarging my main jets. Don't want a nice looking bike with a siezed engine because the mix was too lean....
