Hello All,
this is an odd first post, however, as an ex-member of the MRC, and involved in organising a Show/Rally, in the East Midlands, in July, I thought I'd like to invite the Morini Riders Club!!!! If enough Morinis want to come, we could even approach North Lecester Motorcycles to sponsor a Trophy!!!!
Hope to see some Brill Morinis!!!!

Doesn't the Dart have a Kokusan generator and ignition and possibly a Japanese starter motor? That'll do....MarkB wrote:Doesn't the J in VJMC stand for J*p*n*se?

Re: East Midland Classic Bike Show/Rally July
Hello All, again!!!
Well this is a quick post rally report, the rain fell, Big Time Friday afternoon and evening, only 2 of us made it to The Vic pub.
However, as Saturday morning started, the rain went, as did most of the clouds. We had almost 40 machines there. Not a bad turn out for the conditions.
But the reason I'm posting this on your forum is:-
A MORINI BATTLED THROUGH HELL & HIGH WATER AND WON!!!!!!!!
Dave Spencer excepting the Best Non Category Trophy (none Jap or British) from Peter Mumford.
Dave showed a 1980 Morini 3 1/2
I would like to thank Dave for turning up and showing the Morini Colours!!
Our Judge, making a quick phone call to find out what on earth he's looking at!!!
It was a good rally/show, dispite the weather!!!
Next year anybody???
