Projects?

Does anyone have any interesting Morini / non-Morini projects on the go?

Please share them here...

That looks superb!

Especially the rear suspension. Is that a standard early Kanguro frame? I must confess to never having got too close to one before.

I'm in the process of putting Strada bars on my Sport- about the closest I can get to a project, these days.

Hi,

The frame is an early X1 frame, it still has round tubing. I was warned of a weak spot on the older frames where the rear footrests attach. I have removed the rear footrests and welded an additional bracing plate in their place. Currently fitting the front headlight, using a Suzuki SV headlight with brackets from a Suzuki Bandit. I have had to cut the brackets in two and shorten them by 40mm each but now they fit the Husqvarna forks. Should have some more pictures by the end of Sunday. MOT booked for 14th June so the deadline is looming.

Yes, I do have a project bike but I'm hoping to surprise it on the club at the AGM. If I don't I'll post it.

Er. . . . . I'm putting a Villiers 197 3 speed engine in a '77 CZ 125 frame. Increase capacity and lower top speed at one fell swoop. . . .and not as reliable. . .

Also building a MZ301 chop. . .
