Getting out on my bike for fun.

Post by Tricky »

Hi All,
I live in Southampton and am keen to ride out with any other riders. Looks like ive missed the Cadwell park thing.
Cheers

HI Rich,

Entry might be full but you don't have to miss out.
I'm sure some members will be travelling up to Cadwell and wouldn't mind some company on the road up.
Post when and by which route you are travelling and you might find others who you can join.
You can watch at Cadwell and enjoy sights and sounds of the paddock.
We have over 30 Morini's on track and many more in and around the paddock.
Total entry is now over 110 with everything from a Benelli Six to a SP 1000 Honda.
Plenty of British singles, twins and triples if that is your thing.
The club will be camped at the Waggon & Horses Thursday through to Sunday.
All this is free so there is a good three days of fun which must be a good excuse for a ride out.
Regarding the gear, well that is down to your choice. Compromise between safety and comfort.
On the recent Dijon trip I went Gortex jacket and leather trousers.
Often worth visiting the bike shows, Stafford is a good one, April & October where retailers offer bargin deals.

Rich;

They're be a few MRC members and others at the Sammy Miller Italian Day coming up in July if Cadwell is too soon / far / not your thing. Or why not post a date for the Poole Bike Night, meeting up at 3X for a joint run in? There's also the MRC monthly meetings just near to Havant for general chat and local runs...

See you soon!
