Trying to identify this old bike and restore it for my Kids

Post by Tricky »

Im going to get this old bike out of the shed today. It dates back to my child hood and before it must be 45yrs +old. I know it as a Monkey bike or italijet. Pull cord start, once fold down bars. Its been in the family for 40 years. My grand father was a motorcycle Mechanic buying it for my older brother. Its very tired and a wreck I once spotted the same at the Sammy Miller Museum. I will post pics later.
Thanks

Here are the pics, I took the kids to the Sammy Miller museum too. This bike was no longer there. Any info welcome.
The bike has the side pull casing missing, the small seat is missing. I have never tried to start it. My brother tells me the coil broken, there is no spark.

Its Ialian thats for sure the sticker on the engine is in italian. Any info appreciated.
