Italian paperwork.

Post by Richard Carrigan »

I might be buying a Morini in Italy soon - does anyone know what paperwork is legally required to ride on Italian roads? Insurance paperwork I'll bring with me from the UK but would the vendor have to provide the equivalent of a V5 and an MOT test?

Thanks in advance,
Richard

That's a good question, I am curious to see the answer.
Do the Italians need the equivalent of our MOT and road tax. I don't think we have any Italy residents on the forum.

Are you buying a bike there and then riding it back? Would make a good story for the adventures section of the forum

have you tried asking The AA, RAC or the Italian Embassy? There is the ACI Italian Automobile Association but their website is in Italian
