Remembrance Sunday

Post by Steve Brown »

Hi all, posting this here as it's not a Morini only run.
Every year for the last 10 or so, the East Mids section of the AJSMatchless owners club (I'm a member) have a run to join in with the village of Thrussingtons remembrance service on their village green.
It's only just occurred to me to invite the MRC as well-sorry!
If you'd like to join us, please meet at the service area at Markfield (Junction 22 of the M1 in Leicestershire) for a shortish run via Charnwood Forest to Thrussington.
We meet at 09.30hrs to leave by 09.45hrs. The route is suitable for veteran/vintage/classic bikes so feel free to bring your little Corsarinos etc! and don't expect any knee down action unless you're falling off. Which isn't compulsory either.
The village pub is open for lunch etc after the service, after which we make our various ways home.
So, a nice social run with the chance to pay your respects to those who paid all in conflicts from 1914 to the present day.

Please join us, and PM me if you want to know any more.

Steve.
All donations to the rest home for old Camels, Leicestershire.
