Good and bad in equal measures.
Gives investment money, but will the Made in Italy' tag still apply?

I suspect that at least after a while it will become like Benelli and SWM (or even AJS). Badge engineering with generic Chinese engines. If that pays for the continued production of the 1200s it's an "acceptable price to pay". Having said that, will punters pay the ticket price for a ZZ once it's thought of as a 'Chinese' bike?MickeyMoto wrote:Good and bad in equal measures.

If they build something light, low, medium capacity and decent power though I would certainly go and have a ride on it, but for example the Benelli 502 is > 200Kgs!

Encouraging! Please Franco make it lower than a Corsaro. A bit lighter would be good too - though I realise that as an 800 twin there are limits to weight saving with modern emissions and noise requirements. A competitor for the Ducati Scrambler 800 Icon perhaps?P&S wrote:The good news is that Lambertini has been contacted by the new management for a collaboration.
He should work on a new 800 twin made in Italy.
