National Road Rally

Post by MickeyMoto »

Is it me, or does the National Rally website have a Corsaro as a watermark on its webpages?

Anybody doing it this year?

I'm doing the rally (as usual) but will be on my Deauville (as usual) - doing the Platinum - special tests in Leicester Coming up from Essex first) and then 540 miles or so in the next 18 hours would rather tax my mature joints on Miss Morini with clip ons and rearsets....... Also quite a lot of Motorways so end up doing 720miles or so in 24 hours. Have done 300 miles plus a few times on the Sport but that was a few years ago!

Do enjoy the event - along with the Welsh and Scottish as well. May consider the Welsh on the Morini as a little shorter and I stop the night before and after.

I'm hoping to do it this year for the first time, however will not be the Platinum. Not decided on a bike yet, but needs to be a challenge. That counts out the Scrambler. Possibly use the Laverda, as has high bars. However a Sport may be the answer for me. I'll put the chiropractor on speed dial....
