As Micky said the original is electronic! If your's is faulty though, the old NLM system was a good replacement in my experience. You could buy either the pick up or the transducers separately (they work with the original parts) or as a set. I would imagine that Mdina Italia have taken that system along with the rest of the NLM stock. I have no experience of any of the other replacements and prefer to have a system that doesn't rely on the battery.

I'd forgotten about that one. You'll have to spill the beans and tell us how much it costs etc. I see you posted and email but is there a website with info yet?

I just had a reply from SWF about the system Huub has got. It does seem good value and I might be ordering one soon. The programmable is 200 Euros and the fixed version is 160 Euros plus post. Once you have this fitted you have more choices in fitting a different flywheel with more charging oomph (technical term) This along with a modern high capacity battery sounds pretty tempting. I think I'm selling it to myself.

OK, as you're all obviously dying to know I've jumped in with both feet and ordered a programmable set up, so you can rely on me to report and back up what Huub says about it. At this rate I might be adding a few transducers and pick ups to my autojumble table. Millionaire by Christmas then?
