That frame number is just over 1000 above my K, which spent its formative years nipping up the Via del Corso or the Via dei Fori Imperiali.
And very nice too.

1400 higher than mine. Must have gone back to the remaining spares before the K2 was introduced. Silver wheels, single disc, metal front mudguard.

I must admit it looks nice in blue.

Hi Mike,

Please no this bike isn't a parts bin special, its a proper model,
the grey wheels, black frame, chrome pipes are all as envisaged as the upgrade for the previous K Strada models,
this one has the revised tail plastics and seats for 82. 81 has a more plain tail fairing, but otherwise the same,
the brochures show the square headlight.
Its a huge shame that the UK importer took very few of these if any.
If I trawl through old ATGs I could find the price!
There is also a super rare silver/grey version as well as the ubiquitous red ones.

The Strada only had the single disk at the front as standard, twin disk was option, and a rear drum.
The K1 (Tre-Freni-Disco) has the rear disk.

I should have bought one new in 83, really I should have, I had to plead with the dealer for a brochure,
even though I already had a 350 sport. No change today it still hard to buy a new Moto Morini outside of Italy

Ah, OK. Thought I'd never seen a 3FD Strada. It is a pretty machine. I'd swap my 3FD for the blue one.

Indeed it is a pretty machine.
I and others have literally pleaded with people not to paint their Morinis red
just because they are Italian and they are supposed to be red when they weren't originally.
For sure it's their bike and they can paint it how they like but
that 76 golden ochre strada and the final blue stradas so rare.
And not to mention the London grey 500s would be a sin.

That red one has a tenth the miles of my Sport. For that I can forgive the standard rectangular headlamp. And In Norfolk, the only county I have never been too......

That blue one is a beauty, just needs an RMS 2:1 to be my favourite 350.
