private message facility

Post by stillooking »

Hello,
Sorry if this is perhaps not the most appropriate method to communicate that I'm experiencing difficulty in sending private messages. I've not experienced problems before. Can you advise?
Thanks

I sent you a pm before I saw this topic :)
What happens when you send a pm?

Could I ask that everyone checks the email address they signed up with to make sure it still works. If you get sent a pm the system emails you to let you know. I have seen a few bounced emails but of course I cannot email the user to tell them the email address is wrong 8)

Hi - have tried to PM you but that is the problem. My PMs are building up in my out box but not going anywhere. Can you help? Thank you.

Hi,

PMs will stay in your inbox until they have been read by the recipient. if they have changed their email and have not updated it in their profile, they will not see an email to say they have a pm.

You can delete PMs from your outbox
Go to the user control panel, select the outbox, put a tick in the Mark box next to the PM. Underneath the Mark box is a drop-down list, select Delete marked and press go.
