I need more Morini photos.
If you have any photos of your bike, you and your bike or just you, that you would like to see on this site, please email them to me.

I would like to start a page of the various models with photos to help those restoring or identifying what they have and a page showing Morini owners with their bikes.

No, and yes

I have mocked up a page and just need to sort out the links.
It does not contain many photos though, so get posting.

Thanks for yours Rob :D

I expect Rob C has already sent a photo of the Kanguro; if not then I'll get some to you when I eventually pick it up (just need Ins Cert to get tax).

On a different subject now - I have an '89 Performance Bikes mag with a short test on both the Kanguro and New York custom. They loved both which seems to contradict mag title! But I just wondered whether you were allowed to reproduce these bike mag articles?

I should have a couple of late '70's tests as well, lurking the the bowls of the garage somewhere. Certainly did have for the 3.5 sport, 500 sport and Turbo - so going to have a look tomorrow.

Further to my last post, here are the road tests / articles so far found:

500 Maestro - Bike no. 117, Dec '82
- Which Bike? Road Test Special, Volume 3
500 Sport - Which Bike? no. 22, May '78
250 - Bike no. 91, Oct '80
- Which Bike? no. 48, July 80
350 / 500 - Motorcycle International no. 17, Oct '86 "Practical Classics"
500 Sahara - Bike no. 116, Jan '82
350 Kanguro / 501 New York - Performance Bikes, Oct '89

Possibly some more to follow......

I'll get round to scanning them all at some point soon and as long as there are no legal issues with printing or e-mailing, then I'll be quite happy to provide these to other members.

Hi,

I am currently converting my '84 Kanguro to a supermoto/flat tracker hybrid. I will take progress shots and post them. End of july should have chassis complete which will comprise of Kanguro frame, modified to take Suzuki SV650 swinging arm/suspension and Husqvarna SM610 forks (conventional not USD).

Regards

Robin

Richard
I would be interested in seeing the road tests. As they are so old I don't think anyone would mind if they were posted on the site. I always put a reference to the magazine and date when I post someone else's article.

Robin,
I would love to have a restoration / upgrade page showing before and after photos with a brief description, If you send it I will put it on the site.
