New Morini Service Centre in Dorset

Post by corsaro chris »

Browsing the Moto Morini website (as you do...) I noticed that there is a new Morini "Service Centre" (I'm not sure that we can call them a dealer these days) in Dorset, and that 3X are no longer listed on the factory website. The new listing is Moto Corsa - details below.

Ashmore is just south east of Shaftsbury (of V-twin rally fame to riders of a certain age) amongst some great riding roads. A great destination for a ride of exploration as soon as the weather turns it's kinder face... If anyone knows them, let us have some details!

We had dealings with them when they were at Three Legged Cross, as Benelli "specialists", sorry to say I wouldn't trust them to change a light bulb, let alone a spark plug.
They stitched up my wife a treat, offering to part ex her TNT 1130 Cafe racer for their Brutale demonstrator, sold her bike on her behalf, then said she couldn't have the demonstrator unless she paid a further £1500 over the numbers agreed!!! Left her high and dry with no bike and insufficient money to replace it with anything comparable. She wouldn't step through their doors ever again.
Other incidents included bike leaving service with 42+psi in both tyres, chain far too tight....

I live in Bournemouth, so it would be local.....not going to happen.

All in all, I'll find someone else thanks!

My only dealings with moto corsa weren't great . I was after a pivot bolt for the brembo brake lever .As MC were a brembo dealer I had hoped I would be able to get the part there , only the parts guy was out of a Wallis and Gromet movie , And Hadn't got a fxxkin clue ,comparing random levers in the show case by eye ,instead of tracking down the part in a catalogue . I ended up getting it from a very helpful guy in 3x parts .3x no longer a importer, but can still service and get parts .
