Dart mirrors

Post by jeanster »

Is there anywhere to get the "cup washers" or would they be better described as "ball connection liners" for the mirror adjustment pivots? Failing that is any supply of complete mirror assemblies?
While I'm on here, my Dart has a colour co-ordinated Baglux tank bag and I'm wondering how unique an item this is (not boasting, just curious).
Had the Dart through at East Fortune yesterday to watch the racing where it was widely admired. Don't think I've seen another one this far north.

There was a Dart on the Scottish MRC stand at last years Scottish Show - and that got ridden as far north as Linlithgow...

Would you fancy putting yours on the stand in 2012? If so, send me a pm for details.

We're also hoping to have a meeting at the BMF do at Kelso later this year,

Pretty much unnobtainium I'm afraid. I've seen the odd NOS set in Orange (from the Freccia) on ebay over the years (use ebay.it, .de, .fr etc.). There are others that look at home on a Dart, but lets face it the mirrors are pretty useless anyway (better than my Gilera CX though!). If you prise out the caps on the lever pivots you'll find threaded bosses where you can fit a set of bar mounted mirrors.
