Nipples

Post by pedro »

I have noticed that the stainless Grimeca bleed nipples have been out of stock for a long time now, is there any chance of getting another batch made? They seem to be unobtainable anywhere else.

Thanks Pedro;

We will look into this, but the costs are likely to be quite a bit higher than before... Watch this space, and good riding!

I would be interested in four of these, if they become available.

Did anyone ever have a look at getting these remade?

Just thought I'd chime in, Moto Morini used two different types of Grimeca caliper with different nipples.

The link above is for the earlier type with the pointed nipple. Later ones like on my 1983 K1 have a flat end and sit on a ball bearing.
I think the change was about 1980/1 but that's a guess.
I did get some for the later type from a scooter place in the NL. They are out there somewhere.
