You could try RK Leighton in the Midlands

tel 0121-359 0514

fax 0121-333 3130
Web: www.rk-leighton.co.uk

No personal experience. I could not get onto their home page just now but that may be a feature of my PC.

You say that you need a new seat - Is it just the cover or is the seatpan rusted through? If the former, then I can concur with Buzby. Leightons did the seat on my 350 and did a superb job. Highly recommended.
If it is because of rust and you are stumped for a replacement, then you could try what I did (extreme though it may be). I patched up the rust holes with filler and took a fibreglass mould of it. I then made a new fibreglass seatpan with new bracket/fixings and 13 years on it is still excellent.

George.

Hi, Thanks for all the helpful suggestions, its taken a long time for my reply, . I managed to get a good quality cover from North Leics m/c (NLM) , very reasonable price -About £30 odd -from memory, my seat pan and foam were ok so it was relatively easy to fit the new cover. looks much nicer than with worn-shiny age cracked original!. According to NLM you would have to cut off the seat mounting lugs on the frame to fit the hump back seat from the 350 sport.

Another vote for Leightons who have just done an excellent job on my 2C seat. I have a manky old 350 seat base I was going to throw away, but after this thread I think it will end up on Ebay.
