I'm just having a clear-out of 'stuff' and found a few large boxes of old English coins. I've had a look and there is nothing of interest, so I'm wondering what I can do with 1.75kg of old pennies, ha'pennies and modern 1/5pees?
Apparently its illegal to melt down coins of the realm - in England anyway http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/bill ... crime.html so I might just have to chuck them in the bin!
